Do you have 10+ years of experience in AI and Machine Learning with a focus on MLOps infrastructure? Apply now for a long-term contract opportunity for a public sector client in Brussels.

Requirements:

10+ years of IT experience with a deep focus on AI, Machine Learning, and NLP architectures
Excellent knowledge of managing on-prem and cloud MLOps infrastructure
Expert-level command of containerisation and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, EKS, or PKS)
Strong proficiency in Python, Unix, and Bash scripting
Proven experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, TensorFlow (TFX), or Airflow
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Knowledge of messaging platforms (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra)
Experience with Big Data analytics over non-structured datasets and data lakes using SQL, Hive, or Pig
Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Ability to perform model testing and validation in production environments
Desirable: AWS Certified Machine Learning or Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate
Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

Implement and maintain robust MLOps infrastructure to support the lifecycle of AI/NLP models
Manage containerised environments and orchestration workflows to ensure scalable model deployment
Design and automate data pipelines using Airflow and integrate messaging services for real-time data flow
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation across hybrid cloud environments
Execute data analytics over large-scale, non-structured datasets and data lakes
Conduct rigorous model testing and validation to ensure performance and accuracy in production
Monitor system health and model drift using ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana
Draft structured technical documentation and deliver presentations to both technical and business stakeholders
