Senior Cloud Engineer Azure Focus

Role Summary
The Senior Cloud Engineer Azure Focus plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This is a hands on position that combines deep technical expertise with the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams. The role directly supports cloud modernization, operational excellence, and long term infrastructure strategy.
In this role, you will lead Azure infrastructure design and operations, support hybrid identity and networking, and contribute to automation and modernization initiatives. You will be trusted to take ownership of complex challenges, improve system reliability, and help shape cloud best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, firewalls, and VPN gateways
• Manage hybrid identity solutions using Azure AD Connect and Entra ID
• Deploy and support Azure IaaS and PaaS resources with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and cost optimization
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and native tooling
• Support and enhance CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts from on premises to Azure
• Design, deploy, and support enterprise networking using Cisco Meraki across multiple locations
• Collaborate with security, application, and operations teams to deliver end to end infrastructure solutions
Key Requirements
• 5 plus years of experience in infrastructure, networking, or cloud engineering roles
• 3 plus years of hands on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, governance, and security
• Proficiency with Windows Server administration including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools for automation
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, and Conditional Access
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders
