New Business Sales Manager - Autonomous, team, entrepreneurial, rewarding!

Engineering Solutions into Manufacturing

Rugby, Warwickshire (Hybrid - On the road)

£50k–£60k Basic + £600pm Car Allowance / Company Car + Uncapped Bonus (Realistic to £80k+)

Proper SME sales role in a £30m engineering manufacturing business. No corporate fluff. Good products, loyal customers, and the chance to build something.

The Role

You’ll inherit a small group of engineering and manufacturing accounts and develop them, while also bringing in new customers.

Sell engineering / manufacturing solutions
Build relationships with engineers, production managers and buyers
Grow existing accounts and expand spend
Win new manufacturing customers
Develop a territory worth £1m+ over time

Split roughly 70% new business / 30% account growth.

What They’re Looking For

B2B sales experience (engineering / manufacturing helpful)
Comfortable talking to technical people and engineers
Strong relationship builder
Someone who enjoys winning new accounts
Self-starter who likes autonomy in an SME

This Role Is Not For Everyone

You probably won’t enjoy this role if you prefer:

Sitting in an office waiting for enquiries
Selling low value / high volume products
Being heavily managed

You’ll enjoy it if you like:

Building long-term relationships with manufacturing customers
Winning new accounts and growing revenue
Working in a straightforward SME environment.

The Opportunity
