Senior / Staff TypeScript Engineer

San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

We’re partnered with a Series B, YC-backed AI infrastructure company building a platform that helps engineering teams design, test, and deploy production AI workflows. The product is already being used by both high-growth startups and enterprise teams to run real customer-facing systems — not demos or side projects, but AI and data pipelines that are live in production.

They recently raised their Series B after strong revenue growth and are expanding the engineering team to keep up with demand. The team is still fairly small for the stage, so new engineers are working on core parts of the system — architecture, performance, and product design — rather than being siloed onto narrow features.

What you’ll do

Build core product features using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
Design systems for LLM workflows, real-time data processing, and large-scale application logic
Own projects end-to-end, from design through production
Work closely with senior engineers and founders on architecture decisions
Improve performance, reliability, and scalability across the platform
Debug complex issues in distributed, production systems

What we’re looking for

Strong experience building production systems with TypeScript / JavaScript
Experience working across the stack or on backend-heavy applications
Background in startup or high-ownership environments preferred
Experience with scalable systems, APIs, or data-heavy products
CS degree or equivalent practical experience
