Job Summary:
The Business Information Management Analyst - Capital Markets supports data analysis, reporting, and business insights for capital markets initiatives. This role works closely with stakeholders to analyze financial and operational data, support reporting processes, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across the organization.The position requires strong analytical capabilities, experience working within capital markets environments, and proficiency with data tools such as Python or SQL to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage business and financial data related to capital markets activities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights
Develop queries, scripts, and analytical solutions using Python and/or SQL
Support reporting processes and help generate dashboards and data visualizations
Contribute to testing activities including writing and executing test scenarios and cases
Assist in maintaining data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting platforms
Support business teams by translating data insights into actionable recommendations
Required Experience:
5-7 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or information management roles
3-5 years of experience working within capital markets environments
Experience analyzing financial or operational datasets
Experience supporting reporting or analytics initiatives within financial services organizations
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience creating dashboards using Power BI or Alteryx
Experience writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
Finance-related certifications or professional designations
