Role: Business Analyst

Type: 12 month contract

Location: Hybrid 2-3x/week in Guelph, ON

Rate: $25-$27/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract with a leading Canadian financial services and insurance organization, reporting to the Director of Digital Product. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert and lead the development of user stories, workflows, business analysis, acceptance testing, and the implementation of enhanced applications to ensure program alignment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document clear business and technology requirements, investigate and recommend solutions, and develop test strategies while adhering to established standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting technical design and testing activities, providing context on business needs, and coaching team members to achieve objectives. The ideal candidate has experience with Salesforce CRM, understands sales organizations and advisor operational processes, and can translate business needs into digital solutions. Strong knowledge of data flow, omni-channel sales support, and user experience accountability is essential.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a financial services or sales-based organization
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and MIRO
Business Analyst certification
Post-secondary degree in Business or Computer Science or other related fields
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross functional teams

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous industry experience in banking, insurance, retail, consulting, or similar
Salesforce CRM experience
