Job Title: CygNet SCADA Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer with extensive hands-on experience on the CygNet SCADA Platform to support oil & gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SCADA system configuration, data modeling, integration, and performance optimization within real-time production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and support CygNet SCADA systems for real-time data acquisition, control, and monitoring.
Develop and optimize data models, templates, and screen views for operational efficiency.
Integrate CygNet with third-party applications, field devices, and enterprise databases.
Perform system diagnostics, health checks, and performance tuning to ensure uptime and reliability.
Troubleshoot issues in coordination with field operations and provide remote diagnostics support.
Ensure all SCADA configurations comply with API 21.1, ISA, and cybersecurity standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SCADA engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on CygNet.
Strong understanding of telemetry protocols such as Modbus, ROC, and ABB Totalflow.
Working knowledge of API 21.1 data standards and report generation.
Proficiency in CygNet Studio, scripting (.NET, Python), and automation tools.
Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, and data historians.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Preferred Certifications
CygNet Certified Professional
Familiarity with ISA standards (e.g., ISA-95, ISA-99)
Cybersecurity certification (optional, e.g., GICSP or equivalent)
