Position Information

The Human Resources Specialist (internal title) is a crucial role in the organization managing various aspects of human capital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, employee relations, benefits, engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for success in the role here at Chantecaille.

Position Responsibilities

Supporting HR Business Partner

Collaborate with the hiring manager and HR Business partner to ensure smooth management of the onboarding and offboarding process (induction schedule, onboarding templates, scheduling exit interviews, tracking new hire and onboarding tasks, perform background checks, liaise with IT and managers on new hire seating, equipment, door pass etc.)
Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR related questions and address concerns in a timely and professional manner. Partner with HR Business Partner on complex HR related questions.
Support HR Business Partner with administration execution with Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations.
Contribute to employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Identify and recommend training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff.
Support ad hoc HR projects and perform additional HR Specialist duties as needed and assigned.

HR Operations

Responsible for Employee File management: maintain detailed and accurate documentation and records to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Responsible for HR reporting reconciliation between HR systems as well as manually update organizational charts. Liaise with regional counterpart to ensure files are updated regularly.
Responsible for managing the content on the company Intranet.
Drafting communications for organizational announcement.

Position Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related a plus
3- 5 years experience in Human Resources of Business Administration
Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and employment law, HR certification highly desired, aPHR or SHRM CP
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Discretion and an ethical approach to HR.
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is beneficial.
