For an insurance customer in Belgium, I am searching for a freelance Life Insurance Business Analyst to support the portfolio migration project and/or commercial developments projects. This team of 10 people specialized in individual and collective life insurance consists of 3 types of functions: Actuaries, Business Analysts, and testers.

Responsibilities

Analyse product and process differences of source system vs target in the context life insurance policies migration
Define associated requirements and formalize them according to defined quality standards.
Identify the process impacts of the migration of individual life insurance policies.
Ensure understanding between the business and IT.
Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams.
Provide regular reporting on the progress of your activities.
Ensure effective collaboration with numerous stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and develop a trustful relationship with your clients and suppliers.

Profile

Imperative knowledge individual life insurance products and processes
Imperative knowledge in “Classique” products
Knowledge in life insurance migrations
Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines. A "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
University degree in mathematics (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
Familiar with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
Strong adaptability and learning ability.
Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
Client and results-oriented.

ONSITE POLICY: 2-3 days per week

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGUAGES: Fluent French/Dutch and English
