Sales Executive – SaaS Privacy, Data Protection & AI Governance

About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company providing an end-to-end Privacy & AI Governance platform used by organisations to run GDPR and data protection compliance collaboratively and efficiently.
My client is seeking a creative, networked and commercially driven Sales Executive with strong knowledge or exposure to GDPR, data protection, risk, security, or adjacent compliance areas. You will own the full sales cycle, working with privacy, legal, security and risk teams to demonstrate how the platform centralises:
Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
DPIAs/PIAs
Data Subject Requests (DSRs)
Data breach management
Cookie consent management
Tasks, workflows, questionnaires
SSO + API/integrations
Your role is to understand client pain points, shape compelling value propositions, and drive adoption across UK and Ireland.
New Business & Revenue Growth
Own full-cycle B2B SaaS sales from prospecting → demos → negotiation → close.
Build and execute a strategic plan for UK & Ireland target markets (mid-market and enterprise).
Create and manage a strong pipeline using a consultative and insight-driven sales approach.
Develop outbound strategies and work creatively to engage prospects (events, thought leadership, networks, online channels).
Client Engagement & Consulting
Understand client challenges around GDPR, risk, governance, security and AI compliance.
Run intelligent, solution-focused conversations with DPOs, CISOs, Legal Counsel, Risk Managers and CTOs.
Work with Solutions Engineering to deliver high-impact product demos.
Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on customer insights.
Market Development
Leverage your existing network in the UK/Ireland privacy, cyber, governance and legal communities.
Attend and represent the brand at UK/Ireland events, webinars, and industry roundtables.
Position the company as a thought leader in data protection and AI governance.
Required Experience
3–8+ years in B2B SaaS sales OR in privacy/data protection consulting with a desire to move into sales.
Strong understanding of GDPR, governance, risk, compliance (GRC) or adjacent fields.
Demonstrated success in managing mid–large enterprise deals.
Ability to carry a quota and consistently meet or exceed targets.
Strong network in UK & Ireland within privacy, legal, cybersecurity, or risk.
Creative prospector: comfortable with events, LinkedIn outreach, workshops, and multi-channel engagement.
