This role serves as a strategic partner to the business by collecting, analyzing, and translating complex requirements into actionable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, Asset (HAM/SAM), and Service Catalog areas. The position supports greenfield ServiceNow implementations in large-scale enterprise environments, helping define roadmaps, improve process maturity, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. The work is performed within an Agile delivery model and includes close collaboration with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and translate them into clear, scalable ServiceNow requirements.
Advise on process design, governance, and roadmap strategies for ITSM, CMDB, Asset, and Service Catalog areas within ServiceNow.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in IT Service Management discussions, guiding teams through best practices in ServiceNow configuration and process alignment.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to design and refine ITSM workflows, CMDB structures, Asset environments, and Service Catalog offerings.
Produce high-quality documentation, including process flows, business rules, functional designs, and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
Communicate complex technical and process concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
Translate business needs into ServiceNow solution concepts and validate designs through walkthroughs, prototypes, and testing.
Lead testing efforts including test planning, UAT, and regression validation to ensure service and data integrity.
Support organizational change management by contributing to training, documentation, and communication that promote adoption and best practices.
Partner with IT leadership to evolve ServiceNow usage through continuous improvement, CMDB governance, and process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow in an enterprise environment
4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with proven success translating complex business needs into ServiceNow capabilities.
At least 1-2 prior projects of greenfield net-new ServiceNow build experience.
Deep understanding of ITSM processes, CMDB design, Asset module set up and Service Catalog management.
Experience gathering and documenting requirements, defining user stories, and managing delivery within an Agile or Scrum framework.
Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and their practical application within ServiceNow.
Proven ability to engage cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus on strategic solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Comfortable advising technical teams and business leaders alike on ServiceNow capabilities, governance, and best practices.
Preferred (Optional):
ITIL v3 or v4 Certification or equivalent experience implementing ITSM frameworks.
Experience leading large-scale or global ServiceNow initiatives.
ServiceNow certifications or micro-certifications are highly preferred.
Strong understanding of enterprise data management, service mapping, and process optimization.
Ability to balance tactical delivery with strategic vision and long-term platform scalability.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $60 - $70 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
