Hiring: GCP Cloud Architect (Contract – INSIDE IR35)
Location: London (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Role Overview
We are seeking an Experienced GCP Cloud Architect with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, migrating, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive cloud modernization initiatives, enable cloud-native architectures, and collaborate effectively with engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, highly available, and scalable cloud architectures on GCP
Lead end-to-end migration from on-premise infrastructure to GCP
Partner with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to deliver cloud-native solutions
Define and enforce cloud security, compliance, and governance standards
Build, manage, and optimize GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines with automated deployments and approvals
Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Stay current with GCP innovations, architectural best practices, and industry trends
Document architecture designs, configurations, and operational procedures
Provide technical leadership and guidance across cloud initiatives
Required Skills & Expertise
Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong expertise in Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads
Solid experience with CI/CD automation, preferably using GitHub Actions
Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, governance, and compliance
Proven experience in cloud performance tuning and cost optimization
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Eligibility & Compliance Requirement (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications
GCP Professional certifications (Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer)
Experience working within enterprise-scale cloud environments
Strong background in cloud modernization and DevOps best practices
