Data Annotator – 11 month contract - £61,000 per annum pro rata

You’ll gain valuable exposure within a multinational technology setting, working on a high-impact project for an organisation recognised for its leadership in online trust, safety, and compliance. The role plays a key part in supporting AI development and compliance-focused operations through structured data and content labelling.
The day-to-day tasks:
Support the ongoing quality and effectiveness of content review processes, ensuring decisions align with established guidelines and standards.
Contribute to the development and upkeep of benchmark content sets used to assess performance and maintain consistent quality levels.
Partner closely with external vendors and internal teams to review performance, share feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong working relationships with vendor partners, helping to monitor quality outcomes and support delivery against agreed expectations.
Identify opportunities to enhance processes, workflows, and tools, collaborating with stakeholders to implement practical improvements.
Review and interpret performance data and trends to inform quality strategies and highlight areas for refinement.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, policy, and leadership, to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Engage in ongoing training and development, staying informed on evolving policies, procedures, and best practices.
Operate with professionalism and resilience when working with challenging or sensitive material, applying sound judgement at all times.
Apply critical thinking to assess online behaviours and potential societal impacts, supporting informed decision-making within an operational environment.
The ideal candidate has:
Fluent Vietnamese speaker (written and verbal) – essential requirement
At least 4+ years experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety operations, quality assurance, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in data annotation or roles involving high attention to detail, ability to spot trends, processing large volumes of content/information.
Strong understanding of policy application, content guidelines, and moderation workflows.
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications, with a willingness to learn and use in-house annotation tools.
This opportunity is a contract for 11 months, potential for extension depending on project progress, onsite in London, paying £61,000 per annum pro rata.
