On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management - Job Description:

This role involves working as part of a global cybersecurity team focused on the Bank’s vulnerability risk posture. The candidate will engage with enterprise technologies and complex systems across multiple business lines and regions, contributing to high-impact activities.

IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management - Responsibilities:

• Participate in vulnerability management and reassessment processes.

• Perform quality control on risk scoring of vulnerabilities.

• Verify remediation status using tool outputs and operational workflows.

• Suggest improvements to dashboards, reporting, and data quality.

• Collaborate with team members in a renovated and collaborative office environment.

IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management - Mandatory Skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability management.

• 3-5 years of experience in risk assessment methodologies.

• Experience with data analytics and reporting enhancements.

• Experience with risk scoring and vulnerability reassessment.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.

• Familiarity with analytics/reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI.

• CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Knowledge of vulnerability management platforms like Qualys or Rapid7.

IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity / Vulnerability Management – Assignment Length:

This is a contract position until approximately October 31st, with the possibility of extension.
