Social Media & Community Manager (Part-Time)
Omnifilm Entertainment is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented part-time Social Media & Community Manager to grow the online presence of a new unscripted series, foster a positive and engaged community, and support across additional company and show accounts.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social platforms, content creation, and audience building, strong communications skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for dogs and pet-related content is a plus.
This is a part-time position (up to 25 hours per week) with opportunity for growth. Remote-friendly with occasional virtual and in-person meetings as required. Vancouver-based candidates preferred.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Execute social media strategy to grow an audience of loyal, engaged fans
Plan, create, curate, and publish engaging content across multiple platforms
Write clear, SEO-friendly captions, posts, and campaign copy while maintaining consistent voice and tone
Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights
Identify trends, opportunities, and best practices to grow audiences and engagement
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams, as well as talent and key partners
Identify and nurture relationships with key fans and micro-influencers
Support boosted posts and paid campaigns
Ensure all social media activities align with brand guideline and voice
Qualifications & Attributes:
2+ years experience in similar role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Meta Business Suite
Skilled in video editing and creating engaging, trend-aware social-first content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to set, monitor, and achieve goals
Positive, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to supporting a fast-paced team
Able to work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to fast-paced environment
Passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends and best practices
Compensation:
$25-28 per hour (depending on experience and skill set)
