Summary / Objective:
We are seeking a Campaign Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic and operational leader on our theatrical release marketing efforts. This role sits at the intersection of high-level strategy and execution: you will partner directly with the Director of Performance Marketing to translate high-level vision into comprehensive, cross-channel campaign plans, then drive delivery across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and detail-obsessed executor with a genuine passion for bringing stories to theatrical audiences.
How You'll Work:
Amplify light in every action. As the owner of your outcomes, you are empowered to break down silos and orchestrate with any and all people you need in order to reach your goals. You are ultimately responsible for achieving measurable outcomes while also using resources wisely—whether that be money, people, or time
Know your customer. It might be our viewers, investors, creators, or internal Angel teams. Ensure you understand your customer and are providing what THEY need and not just what you want to build
Contribute to the mission. Move the Angel mission forward and exemplify the team qualities required for working at Angel. When faced with roadblocks, mistakes, or unforeseen circumstances, consistently and proactively find creative solutions and break down barriers
What You'll Do:
Campaign Planning & Execution
Partner with the Director of Performance Marketing in developing the overarching release campaign for every film, and define phased rollout timelines alongside the theatrical coordinator.
Serve as the key strategic bridge between the campaign strategy leads and the campaign execution team.
Independently translate strategic direction into detailed campaign briefs, channel plans, and tactical calendars; build and maintain the master campaign timeline across all stakeholders
Actively evaluate and decide whether each campaign, partner, initiative is actually achieving the goal and whether it fits into the overall strategy
Partner & Vendor Execution
Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for external marketing partners in terms of tactical delivery, including media agencies and promotional allies, ensuring delivery is on-brief, on-time, and on-budget.
Oversee day-to-day execution of promotional media, grassroots activations, influencer partnerships, screening programs, and co-promotional campaigns
Manage creative asset delivery across partners, ensuring brand standards and channel-specific adaptation requirements are met
Ensure all partner-facing execution—from creative handoffs to activation logistics—is coordinated, responsive, and aligned with broader campaign objectives
Maintain clear documentation of partner deliverables, deadlines, and status updates to keep all stakeholders informed and accountable
Measurement & Reporting
Maintain campaign performance history; deliver regular status reports translating data into actionable optimization recommendations
Conduct post-release retrospectives to benchmark performance against projections and build institutional knowledge for future releases
What You'll Bring:
3+ years in campaign management, theatrical marketing, entertainment marketing, or a comparable cross-channel execution role
Demonstrated experience managing external partner and vendor relationships, including media agencies and promotional partners
Exceptional project management skills; comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams with tight, non-negotiable deadlines
Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and briefing creative teams
Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in the English language required
An exceptional listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Detail-oriented perspective and able to pick up on overlooked details
Strong organization and time management skills
Nice To Have:
Experience in theatrical film marketing or with a film distributor, studio, or faith-based entertainment company
