Position OverviewThe IT Marketing Systems Analyst is a key member of the Applications and Marketing Technology team, responsible for supporting, optimizing, and evolving the company’s marketing and customer engagement technology stack. This role owns the day-to-day support, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Customer Engagement (ORCE) and other marketing platforms (e.g., Feedonomics, Aftership, Email and SMS platforms) within the Kendra Scott application ecosystem, including integrations across eCommerce, data, and downstream systems.
This position partners closely with Business and Technology teams across Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, and, Customer care, to support customer data requests, campaign and promotion execution, customer personalization, and data-driven marketing strategies. The analyst will also play a critical role in the implementation and ongoing management of the Loyalty program and ensure marketing systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.Responsibilities
Serve as the primary IT owner for ORCE, Loyalty platforms, and related marketing technology integrations, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and alignment with business needs
Provide day-to-day operational support, including issue triage and resolution, in partnership with the service desk, vendors, and business users
Setup and execute different types of retail offers on Xstore POS using the promotion and deal management engine in ORCE.
Own application administration, configuration, upgrades, patches, and release coordination for marketing systems
Coordinate with application vendors to plan and execute system maintenance, upgrades, and patches with minimal business disruption
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of marketing technology initiatives, including CRM, Loyalty, and campaign enablement solutions
Collaborate with Integration, Supply Chain, and E-comm IT teams to ensure accurate customer data flows, analytics, and reporting for marketing use cases
Lead and coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) activities for marketing technology initiatives, including test planning, execution, defect management, and validation across platforms, integrations, and campaigns
Gather, document, and translate business and marketing requirements into functional and technical specifications, assessing level of effort, risks, dependencies, and solution trade-offs
Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, data mapping, configuration, testing (regression and integration), cutover, go-live, and post–go-live support
Independently manage small-to-medium marketing technology enhancement initiatives from intake through delivery
Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials, and provide ongoing training, mentoring, and technical guidance to peer analysts and technology team members
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Marketing Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a Marketing Systems Analyst, CRM Analyst, or similar MarTech-focused role
Deep hands-on experience with Oracle Customer Engagement (ORCE) or comparable enterprise marketing automation platforms
Strong understanding of CRM, Loyalty, customer data, segmentation, and campaign execution concepts
Experience supporting marketing campaigns, journeys, promotions, and personalization initiatives
Loyalty platform experience preferred
Retail or omnichannel commerce experience is a plus
Experience working with customer data, analytics, and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik or similar visualization platforms)
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
Experience supporting cloud-based marketing platforms and managing vendor relationships
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver enhancements in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with both technical teams and marketing stakeholders
Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
