A leading global financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join their dynamic Software Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative project delivery environment that drives innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate with both cloud and on-premise infrastructure
Deploy and manage infrastructure and platform environments, including creating proof-of-architecture to test security and performance
Serve as a subject matter expert within the team, drive key decisions, and provide solutions to complex problems across multiple teams
Lead the team to effective delivery and mentor junior members to develop technical expertise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration of cloud services
Conduct regular cloud architecture assessments to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies

Essential Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Google App Engine (GAE)
Strong experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Platform Architecture
Expertise in Google Cloud Storage is highly advantageous
Working knowledge of Terraform (intermediate level)
Python programming
