Business Analyst (Contract: 12–24 Months)

Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite at downtown Toronto office (up to 4x/week as RTO schedule is finalized)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the development of a Global Cash Management system aligned with OSFI recommendations. This role involves partnering with business and technology teams to design and deliver a robust, multi-currency platform managing CAD, USD, GBP, and EUR operations.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Canadian banking, excels at translating business requirements into technical deliverables, and is highly skilled with data visualization and documentation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
Support the design and implementation of OSFI-compliant solutions within Global Cash Management.
Develop, track, and maintain requirements and project documentation using Jira and Confluence.
Create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation to validate system functionality.
Build and maintain dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI and Excel.
Collaborate across business, operations, and technology teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, governance, and control.

Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience within Canadian banking or financial services.
Experience supporting cash management, treasury, or regulatory compliance (OSFI) initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
Proven ability to prepare and execute UAT test plans and documentation.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of multi-currency systems (CAD, USD, GBP, EUR) preferred.
